General Terms and Conditions & Training Course Terms & Conditions of Sale
We want your booking with us to run as smoothly as possible.
In order to provide a great level of service to all our clients and delegates, we have some terms and conditions that you will need to agree to when booking.
These terms and conditions offer a level of protection to both you and our business.
- Methods of payment
Payment of the course fees must be made in advance and should be made at the time of placing a booking or immediately after receiving an invoice.
Payment can be made by debit/visa card via our website www.maven-safety.com, by cheque payable to Maven Safety Consultancy, or bank transfer. Please call us on 07726327648 or 0894267242 for further information.
All invoices are due for immediate payment and must reach us seven days prior the course date. Late payments may incur a late payment charge of 10% and you may forfeit your space(s) on the course. Invoices will be sent a minimum of 14 days before the course start date. If payment cannot be made within this timescale you must contact us in writing to let us know.
Where an invoice becomes substantially late, we reserve the right to pass your account to a debt collection agency. When we do this, the agency will add fees and charges to the invoice which will become your responsibility to pay.
Where bookings are made from a private email address (i.e. yahoo, gmail etc), the booking will need to be secured by providing credit/debit card details to us. A form will be emailed to you shortly after booking.
- Classroom course (In house course)
By completing your registration for a course and making a payment in full, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
You have the right to cancel your booking at any time at the following terms:
2.1 Any Classroom course cancelled after registration – admin fee of 25% of the course price applies (which will not be refunded), remaining deposit will be refunded. You will need to request the course cancellation 10 working days before the course starting date.
2.2 You are not eligible for any refund if you made a request for course cancellation less than 10 working days before the course starting date.

2.3 Maven Safety Consultancy reserves the right to cancel a course if the number of delegates has not reached the minimum required to run the course effectively. The company also reserves the right to cancel in the event of an unforeseen circumstance which disables a safe training environment. In the event of a cancellation, Maven Safety Consultancy will either arrange for an alternative course date or offer a full refund of the fee paid.
- Distance Learning Courses (Zoom, online courses)
Under this refund policy you may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 10 calendar days (cancellation period) from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded.
If you choose to cancel within this period you will receive a refund of the price within 7 working days if you are eligible for refunds.
If we posted any study material to you, you should return them to us before the refund. Please allow up to 2 working days to receive your online training details (Login details).
Once a course has been redeemed, we cannot grant a refund. All refund requests can be sent to info@maven-safety.com.
- Course Postponement
Classroom Courses (In house courses);
If you need to postpone your course, you will need to make a request 10 working days before the course start to avoid any penalty’s.
- Course Cancellations
Notice outside 10 working days incur no penalty
Notice of 5 to 10 working days incur 50% fee
Notice within 5 working days incur 100% fee unless in exceptional circumstances, for which a medical certificate maybe requested.
- Refund Procedure
Non-company bookings refunds will be processed within 7 working days.
Company booking refunds can take up to 30 days to process.
No refund will be payable for non-attendance or if no prior notice of cancellation is given.
- Changes and updates to these terms and conditions
These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time, and the terms and conditions prevailing at the time of the booking will apply.

- Trademarks
The display of trade names or trademarks on the website or within any of the course materials does not imply that any license has been granted to any third party in respect of the same.
All other product or company names, devices, logos, icons, graphics or designs referred to on the pages of the website or in any of the course materials are the trademarks of the respective owners and are exhibited only in such a manner as is intended to be for the benefit of such trademark owners. Maven Safety Consultancy Limited intends no infringement of such trademarks. The appearance or absence of products, services, companies, organisations, home pages or other websites on the website or any of the course materials does not imply any endorsement or non endorsement thereof Maven Safety Consultancy.
